Intended for young readers (reading ages 3-6 years), Princess Penny and the Pea delivers a positive message by exploring our differences and highlights how we are treated by one another.

Princess Penny Synopsis

It's not easy being a princess. There are so many rules. Penny just wants to have fun like everyone else.

Find out what happens when an unexpected dinner guest leads to a number of zany trials and challenges. A tale that questions whether our differences should determine how we are treated.

About the Author

Olly Pike is the founder of Pop'n'Olly which is an LGBTQ+ equality educational resource used by children, parents, carers and teachers. The videos and books created are used in primary schools across the UK, and beyond, to teach about equality, diversity and acceptance. It 'usualises' different types of people, particularly those who may be LGBTQ+, and ultimately aims to combat homo-, bi- and transphobia before it can even begin.
