Hello amazing person!
It’s safe to say that none of us will forget 2020 any time soon. In today’s culture the word ‘unprecedented’ is often overused although not for this year.
With Joshua Lloyd only officially launching just over a year ago, we’ve definitely had a lot of obstacles in our way to say the least. From growing our team and community internationally and raising over £3,000 for our charity partners, to having to suspend fulfillment and fund new areas of development to limit negative impacts due to local and national lockdown requirements; 2020 has pushed myself and the brand to it’s limits and for this we have adapted and become stronger in every way!
It would not have been possible for us to get through 2020 without you and our amazing community alongside us. I speak on behalf of the entire team at Joshua Lloyd as we personally thank you once again for your incredible love and support throughout the past year.
In addition to all of your support, I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank our amazing employees, ambassadors, suppliers, shipping and logistics partners as without them too we would not have been able to navigate through this very challenging year.
Our entire team have worked around the clock to ensure that our customers get the best service possible alongside getting their items as quickly as possible. I am blown away by our wonderful community and how much support has been shown both within the brand and to everyone that follows it.
We’re so excited to finally meet you all at Pride events across the country when it’s safe and advisable to do so, but for now it’s important to stay safe and focus on your own mental health until we can finally meet you in person!
Over the next couple weeks our core focus once again is on our community and ensuring we protect those who are vulnerable this Christmas and New Year. Although for many it’s a great time to celebrate and relax, many LGBTQ+ people will unfortunately be suffering from nonsupporting families in hostile environments. Nobody should have to feel isolated this Christmas!
Throughout the Christmas period our team will be available across our social media to provide a safe space for those that require help, advice or just a friendly face to speak to. In addition to our team being available, our official corporate partner charity LGBT Foundation will also have their helpline open every day.
Our entire team look forward to continuing our amazing work with you by our side as we move into 2021. United together we will create a safer and more understanding world!
